THE CHALLENGE
Dispatchers were juggling six tabs, two CRMs, and a shared inbox. Errors compounded across shifts and nobody trusted the numbers on the wall display.
OUR APPROACH
- 01Shadowed dispatchers for a week before writing a line of code.
- 02Built a real-time shipment table with optimistic updates and conflict resolution.
- 03Migrated three legacy data sources behind a single read API.
- 04Shipped weekly behind a feature flag so the floor could opt-in team by team.
WHAT HAPPENED
By month four the spreadsheet was gone. Average time to resolve a stuck shipment dropped from 38 minutes to under 9. The night shift now closes their day in one tool.
